- Harken back to a gentler simple era, when horses ploughed the fields and small mixed farms were abundant.
- EST. 1886 Mother Fudrucker's farm - (whimsically named in 1993) is a 146 acre fully working farm since inception.
- If you love horses and the country life, and are getting "hitched", we can professionally accomodate your celebration.
- Our farm features a grand ceremony entrance by horse and carriage for the bride.
- You are assured your event will be private. You will not be sharing the farm with others on your special day.

- We are a seasonal barn wedding venue from May to October. We can accommodate 200 people.
- Our century barn features hand hewn timbers, and intricately detailed metal work. Intimate round tables and fruitwood chiavari chairs for guests.
- Noted, is a sparkle of upscale class against a rustic backdrop. Overhead draperies, and special attention to detail is apparent.
- Vintage furniture finished in a chalk denim wash is reminiscent of worn dungaries sported by hardworking farmers of yesteryear. Many pleasant surprises await.
- Every wedding is as unique as the bride and groom.
- The planning process is simplified. A suggested vendor list is presented upon booking. Chuckwagon fare or more sophisticated gourmet dishes can be chosen from your selected caterer.
- Engaged couples have free license to make their day as casual or sophisticated as they choose.
- Cowboy boots to stilettoes are welcomed. After all, it's your day.
- We get the absolute honour of providing our services for your wedding.
- The fresh air and down home charm, welcomes you to "kick off your boots and stay awhile".

About Us
Our History
- Your Host is Peggy Wainman and family
- Our family have been lifelong farmers. An intrinsic passion for sure! Our 146 acre farm is cash cropped in wheat, soybeans, and hay.
- In the early 1990's it was our dream to share our farm with others.
- We provided horse drawn sleigh rides through our 40 acre maple bush, children's birthday parties, petting zoo, hayloft activities, pony rides, and school tours.
- We also transported our teams of percheron horses offsite to Muskoka resorts, winter carnivals, and private events for wagon and sleigh rides.
- We added a 1905 horse drawn hearse for stately funerals throughout Simcoe County and beyond.
- We have been a part of offsite weddings with horse and carriage for over 25 years.
- Over the last few years we endevoured to transition to barn weddings. We have been preparing ever since. We are now fully insured and have all permits in place through Severn Township.
